From financial literacy to emergency utility assistance, our Across the Country program has
reached 105 communities throughout the United States. This unique program was designed to engage
our partners who know their community best. Each partner identified a local charity to receive a
donation on their behalf, and to date, we've given over $1.4 million to further support our
partners and their community needs.
We encourage you to learn more about the recipients below and explore volunteer events to hear
from partners (which were randomly selected), staff, and communities members on how these gifts are making an impact.

Over $375,000 was distributed to 25 charities from coast to coast on behalf of Elan credit card partners. Staff from Elan and our partners will join together to volunteer at three events in early 2023.
Our inaugural year of charitable giving distributed $625,000 to 50 communities. An additional $20,000 was distributed during in-person volunteer events in Florida, North Carolina, Minnesota, and Massachusetts. Read the press release or view our interactive report highlighting the first year of this meaningful program.
Elan joined credit card partner Wakota Federal Credit Union to volunteer at Neighbors, Inc. to pack emergency food boxes for those in need. The nonprofit was also presented with an additional $5,000 gift, totaling $17,500, to help fund all their work to end hunger. In addition to their food shelf, Neighbors, Inc. has a thrift store and offers guidance through their Financial Empowerment Program.
Watch videoData finds that one-third of customers can be persuaded to move their accounts elsewhere based on a financial institution's lack of charitable giving.
